What is Polished Concrete?
Polished concrete is a multi-step mechanical process that grinds, hones, and polishes an existing concrete slab using progressively finer diamond tooling. A chemical densifier is applied mid-process to harden the surface, and the result is a permanent, coating-free floor that cannot peel, chip, or delaminate.
Because no topcoat is applied, polished concrete is the most durable and lowest-maintenance flooring system available. It is ideal for dry environments where dustproofing, light reflectivity, and long service life are the priorities.

Our Installation Process
Surface Assessment
We inspect the existing concrete slab for cracks, joints, contamination, and hardness to determine the correct grinding sequence.
Coarse Grinding
Diamond tooling removes surface laitance, old coatings, and high spots. Cracks and voids are filled with semi-rigid epoxy filler.
Densifier Application
A lithium or sodium silicate densifier is applied to chemically harden the concrete surface, increasing abrasion resistance.
Progressive Polishing
Progressively finer diamond pads (200 → 400 → 800 → 1500 → 3000 grit) refine the surface to the specified gloss level.
Guard / Sealer
A penetrating guard or stain protector is applied to resist oil and liquid penetration without forming a surface film.
